Kurz und knapp: Bethesda hat auf der E3 2016 das neue Kind namens Quake Champions aus dem Hause id Software enthüllt. Es soll ein klassenbasierter Arena-Shooter werden und es wird spekuliert ob es nicht Ähnlichkeiten mit Overwatch haben soll. Damit distanziert sich Quake nun offiziell von klassischen Arena-Shootern mit Waffen Pick-Ups. Trotzdem soll die Geschnwidkgeit des Spiels gewohnt sehr hoch sein und eine hohe kompetitivität gegeben sein. Ein Einzelspieler wird es nicht geben und der Fokus liegt auf den Multiplayer. Ich bin gespannt, auch wenn ich mir lieber ein Quake Arena 4 oder so gewünscht hätte.
